Summary: "That my tears were those of the phoenix, that they might heal your scars." Post-Soviet-era Lithuania and Poland try to find healing in each other.

Warnings: Angst, lots of angst, mild nudity. Also my historical research was nearly non-existent here so feel free to correct me if I get this wrong.

World Once More Making Sense Toris woke to nothing but silence and he sat up in panic, reaching next to him with trembling fingers –

- Warm, smooth flesh met his touch and Toris sighed, leaning back onto the pillows and trying to calm his breathing. Feliks was here, with him. Toris heard nothing but the slow ticking of the clock in the hall, but at least, oh at least, he still had Feliks.

"…mph… Liet…?" the little blonde mumbled thickly into his pillow. His slim hand fumbled around before finding Toris', squeezing tightly. "Wha –"

Then Feliks froze, too, obviously feeling the silence as well.

This is a story of the celebration Poland threw for Lithuania. Heavily based off a roleplay with my Liet.

Today, I woke up and stared at the calendar. My brunette Lithuanian of a husband was off at work, and he had pulled an all-nighter. I wanted to do something special for him for this day, and everything was falling into place. I found the original tiara I wore on that day, and the crown he wore. Those were sitting on pedestals in glass cases in the rented auditorium at the college. I got seamstresses to re-create the dress I wore, and the suUnion Forever Celebrated by ~Larxel12
Memories The two boys laid on the bed in their shared bedroom, during the evening of July 1st, side by side. They stared at the ceiling and talked to each other, talked about everything that came in mind. Talked about food, clothes, and some stories were also told. They told each other jokes and laughed till their stomach hurts. Until Feliks hit a very intimate subject.
"Hey Liet," said man turned his face to him. "Yes?"
"Do you remember when we got married." There was a minute of silence between them, and then Toris smiled.
"Yes I do."

The US-YDI is a youth led organization dedicated to the creation and support of a US youth delegate to the UN General Assembly. The role of the youth delegate would be to represent the interests of the United States’ youth to the international and national communities. Our goal is to strengthen the channels of communication between government officials, the UN, and youth, through the discussion of youth related issues, with a view to finding solutions to the problems confronting youth in the contemporary world.


As a part of this group, we are looking for you to submit art of any type - literature, photography, crafts, digital, whatever strikes your fancy - that has to do with our mission.
